No work on Monday!
Just when I thought that things couldn't get any better...
It's turning out to be the start of an amazing weekend. The fact that it's a Friday was already good enough for me. But then my officemate got wind of the no work announcement from the web, it just caused a happiness spike in the office that's yet to subside.
The official reason of Malacanan was so that the "Filipino people could listen to the SONA of President Arroyo..."
This reminds me of the Roman emperor Caligula who during his illustrious reign made his horse a senator and married his sister. Of course the Romans weren't very happy about it. His solution to appease the crazed mobs -- declare more than 200 holidays a year.

kapag si gloria, nag-declare ng more than 200 holidays a year, i will personally go and kill her! that would mean more and more work and requirements sa school eh!:)
